What this site is about?

My focus in watch collecting over the last few years came about as part of a side gig. I resold cameras on various online site but I found myself stumbling into interesting watches. As I dug through items to resell, my interest in pocket watches and wrist watches started to peak. Soon I found myself working on them to get the timepiece going. My journey became a slippery slope where I moved from putting in batteries to working on the mechanical movements. While I’m not a profession watch repairman, I’ve gained knowledge through my curiosity. This website is an attempt to organize my acquisitions with stories about the watches, their history and perhaps some tidbits of experience I can share as well.

As you can see from my blog picture, the 1932 Bulova White Prince was one of my first purchases that came with another watch I was looking at for my wife.

Since that time, I’ve come across plenty of unique and interesting watches, although my interest focused on Bulova for the longest time.
